Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is Madhya Pradesh government's flagship women empowerment scheme launched in March 2023. Eligible women receive ₹1,250 per month (proposed to rise to ₹3,000) directly into their bank accounts via DBT. As of 2025, over 1.29 crore women are beneficiaries. The scheme aims to improve women's self-reliance, nutrition and household decision-making.

Eligibility criteria
- ✓Permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh
- ✓Married, widowed, divorced, or abandoned woman aged 21–60 years
- ✓Family annual income below ₹2.5 lakh
- ✓Family must not be income tax payer
- ✓No family member should be a government employee/pensioner (some exemptions for Class IV)
- ✓Family should not own 4-wheeler (excluding tractor)
- ✓Family should not own more than 5 acres of land
- ✓Aadhaar-linked, DBT-enabled bank account in woman's own name (not joint)

- Visit camp organised at Gram Panchayat / Ward office or cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in
- Fill Form (KYC + bank + Samagra details)
- Officer captures live photo and biometric on tablet
- Aadhaar–Samagra eKYC and bank-DBT seeding verified
- Acknowledgement slip given on spot
- Final list published; ₹1,250 credited monthly from 10th of each month
