RRB Group D (Level-1) recruitment is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards to fill posts like Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various departments, Assistant Pointsman, and Hospital Assistant. The selection has CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and medical examination.

Eligibility criteria
- ✓Indian citizen, or Nepal/Bhutan citizen, or Tibetan refugee per rules
- ✓Age 18–36 years (as on the cut-off in notification)
- ✓10th pass from a recognised board OR ITI from NCVT/SCVT OR equivalent
- ✓For some technical posts: National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT
- ✓PET (men): lift 35 kg for 2 min without dropping; run 1000 m in 4 min 15 sec
- ✓PET (women): lift 20 kg for 2 min; run 1000 m in 5 min 40 sec
- ✓Medical fitness A3/C1/C2 as per post category

How to apply — step by step
- Visit rrbcdg.gov.in and choose your RRB region
- Register with email and mobile and fill the form
- Pay fee ₹500 (₹400 refundable after CBT for general) / ₹250 for SC/ST/PwBD/women (refundable)
- Download admit card and appear in CBT (Maths, Reasoning, GS, GK)
- Qualifiers attend PET; clear lifting and running standards
- Document verification and medical follow; final list released by RRB zone
